A cause of action for consortium seeks to compensate injury to a marital relationship. The concept of consortium includes not only loss of support or services; it also embraces such elements as “love, companionship, affection, society, sexual relations, solace, and more.” Millington v. Southeastern Elevator Co., 22 N.Y.2d 498, 502 (1968). “[C]onsortium represents each marital partner’s interest in the continuance of the marital relationship as it existed at the inception of the marriage. . . .” Consorti v. Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp., 86 N.Y.2d 449, 450 (1995).
